Why can't I hear sound on the ARpedia app when I'm using an iPhone?
Your iPhone could be muted if it is on Silent or Do Not Disturb Mode.
Please check your sound settings on your phone and make sure sound settings are turned on.
Which tablets are compatible with ARpedia?
ARpedia is designed for both tablets and mobile devices.
Although we recommend using a tablet for the full interactive ARpedia experience, the app is compatible with iPads, iPhones, Android tablets and Android Smartphone devices on the list below.
My child loves your books! When can I buy the next series?
The next series will launch later this year. Topics include: classic fairy tales, community exploration and science concepts.
How is this different from regular paper books?
Augmented reality (AR) and AI technology added on the ARpedia app extends your ordinary reading experience beyond the pages. It enables the reader to interact with digital content, adds self-created content to the digital experience and allows readers to engage in various activities.
How old does my child have to be in order to use this?
The current ‘Into the Curiosity Q’ series was designed for children ages 4~9 years old.
The next series is will launch later this year, and will target various age groups.
If I already bought SPOTTY, can I just purchase books separately the next time?
You only need to purchase SPOTTY once because it works with all books from our collection. Once the next book series launches, you will be able to purchase these separately.
How can I check to see if SPOTTY is working?
Check the color of the LED light of the power button on SPOTTY.
Solid red : The battery is being charged.
Pulsing red : The battery is low
Solid white : The device is working.
Solid green : The device is fully charged.
How can I play the AR (augmented reality) contents?
Once you have purchased ARpedia books, you will need to verify it before use. Please follow the below steps:
Step 1 Verify the books you have. (Scan QR code or enter Product number key – only needs to be done once)
Step 2 Scan the cover of the book your child wants to read (make sure the cover appears on the screen). The contents play automatically.
What do I need to check before starting?
Prepare your own tablet, SPOTTY, ARpedia books and markers before starting.
1. Check the compatibility of your tablet device with the ARpedia app.
2. Connect to WiFi.
3. Fully charge your tablet and SPOTTY.
4. Connect your tablet to Spotty.
5. Make sure Spotty is connected to a charging cable.
6. Turn on SPOTTY (Press the “On” button for more than three seconds to turn it on).
7. Detach the protection film from the camera lens on the SPOTTY's mouth.Please keep the camera lens clean to recognize the QR code and the cover of the book.
8. Make sure there is enough internal storage capacity of the tablet for App and AR Resources.

How can I start reading the books?
To start the ARpedia experience, scan the cover of the book you want to read on the screen. When you want to switch to another book, press [MENU>PLAY ANOTHER BOOK].

Does it come with a tablet? Or do I need to use mine?
